About Jason Anderson

I am a former Davis Scholar from the 2007-2008 year. My project was centered around working with a social worker named Ed Ballen to help the displaced children in Rwanda. It was a phenomenal opportunity for community service and if anybody is interested in helping orphans this is an excellent place to start. Ed is a man of action. My group helped and watched his program grow from an idea to an extremely developed program within the short time frame of a year.

Thanks in large to this program I am now attending the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University. I am currently studying Human Development (which, in my case is nearly parallel to the Psychology major). I will be going on to obtain my masters and Ph.D in the field of psychology. After obtaining my Ph.D, I intend to teach psychology at the college level and conduct research.

I am currently conducting research related to attachment, emotions, cognition, and unconscious processes.
