Town Hall Meeting: Coming Together in Response to the Call for
Service and Responsibility
Please join us as a panel of special guests (President Hankin; Dean Jianping Wang; Professors Farhad Ameen, Carol Passariello, Michael Priano; Student Government Association President Lianne Wilson; Mayor Dennis Pilla of Port Chester and others) celebrates the historic presidential inauguration of Barack Obama and discusses how we as individuals and a community can respond to our new national leader's call for service and responsibility.
Our panelists invite you to explore with them the ways in which we-as an academic institution, as students, as educators, as staff, as consumers, as community members, as parents, and as citizens-can effect change at this critical moment in history.
There will be an open mike for questions, comments, and discussion. We welcome you! Come and be part of the national discussion right here on our campus.
For more information, please contact Professor Terry Haynes (606-6148) or Dean Wang (606-6963). If you have specific questions that you wish to explore, please send them in advance to Terry.Haynes@sunywcc.edu or Ava.Drutman@sunywcc.edu . We hope to see you there.
Refreshments will be served.
