    Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship

    Note: The deadline for submission of applications (including ALL supporting documentation) is FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12th. There will be NO exceptions.

    T h e F o u n d at i on

    The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is a private, independent foundation dedicated to advancing the education of exceptionally promising students. The Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program provides funding for tuition, room and board, required fees, and books for the remainder of the Scholar's undergraduate degree.  Awards can be for as much as $30,000 annually.

    Minimum E l i g i b i l i t y

    To be eligible to compete for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, a candidate must:

    • Be a current student at an accredited US community college or two-year institution with sophomore status, OR a recent graduate within

       the last five years (since spring 2004),

    • Have a cumulative college grade point average of 3.50 or better on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent),
    • Have unmet financial need,
    • Plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to begin full-time studies in the coming fall (2009), and
    • Be nominated by his or her two-year institution.

    NEW THIS YEAR: Applications must be submitted online. However, the Parent Financial Information Forms are not part of the online application and should be downloaded for completion. Once completed, the student must convert the forms to PDF format and attach them to the application. Faculty recommendations must also be submitted online.
